Press Release Body:

Fort Worth, Texas, June 06, 2008 --In the summer of 2007 Odyssey\'s 97 Boys seemed
poised to qualify and move into the Classic League after 2 years of solid play
against top teams throughout the DFW Metroplex. However, that was not to be in the
cards as the boys did not play up to their potential and failed to qualify.

Forced to play in one of the secondary leagues Odyssey went to the Arlington Premier
League to regroup after failing to qualify and to begin the long and difficult
journey to re-qualify into the Classic League. Make no mistake about it. If you are
unfortunate to miss qualifying that first year the odds of re-qualifying into
Classic League are not good.

After playing in both the fall and spring only the top four out of 25 teams from the
Arlington and Plano Premier leagues even have a chance to re-qualify.Of these 25
teams it appeared 7-8 teams had excellent quality teams that were capable of moving
on. Odyssey did not lose a game in either the fall or spring season and finished on
top of Arlington. This qualified them for a four team \"round robin\" tournament
against Revolution (2nd Arlington), Tigres (1st Plano) and Riverplate (2nd Plano).
The stakes were high. 3 games against each other. Finish in the top two and move on.
Finish 3rd or 4th and your dream was over for another year. Over the 3 day Memorial
weekend Odyssey squared off against these other teams and fought to the end
finishing first by one point (1-0-2 16 points) over the Tigres (1-1-1 15 points)
from Dallas. Both teams will now advance to the final stage of Classic League
qualifying in August against Ayses & Andromeda. Ayses & Andromeda finished in the
bottom two of Classic League and thus have to face off against Odyssey and the
Tigres in another \"round robin\" tournament.

The top two teams will play in Classic League with the other two being forced out.
Over the weekend Odyssey played their first game vs. Riverplate. Odyssey had
numerous chances to score in the first half but could only score once. Riverplate
had the wind in the second half and matched Odyssey\'s score at 1-1. Both teams had
chances to score late but could not convert. In the second game Odyssey faced off
against a familiar opponent, Revolution, and also tied this game 1-1. Revolution
scored first despite playing into a strong wind and took a 1-0 halftime lead. It did
not look good for Odyssey as Revolution had the wind and the lead going into the 2nd
half. Revolution seemed poised to pull off the upset and send Odyssey packing
however Odyssey played a beatiful crossing shot near the goal where it was kicked in
by one of their forwards.

Odyssey\'s goal with about 2 minutes left tied the score and gave them renewed life
going into the 3rd and final game. In game three Odyssey went up aqainst the Tigres
who had an extremely impressive record in Plano while dominating opponent after
opponent. Odyssey scored early but allowed a tieing goal midway through the first.
The Tigres played a long ball down the left side and used speed to have a one on one
shot with the goal keeper. Odyssey\'s keeper made an impressive stop with the kick
however a second player was there to clean up the deflected ball. Odyssey scored to
make it 2-1 by knocking in a untouched corner kick.

Odyssey had several other chances and dominated the first half. The second half was
different as the Tigres had the wind and gained momentum. However, time after time
Odyssey\'s defense rose to the occasion and stopped shots. Odyssey\'s goal keeper had
several shots on goal that he stopped. In the end it was a \"nail biter\" with Odyssey
holding on until time ran out. Congrats on an amazing season for the Odyssey 97 Boys
and good luck in August in the next round!
